As a child, Richard Deveau-Maxwell developed a keen interest in the soldiers who fought during World War II, like his grandfather, a Canadian veteran. He is currently completing a full biography of SS-Brigadeführer Jürgen Wagner. He lives in North Devon, United Kingdom.
